The Mindset Learning Project (MLP) is an evidence-based intervention that was first deployed in online math courses in Georgia through eCore in a randomized controlled trial in 2018. The MLP is designed to support the development of Growth Mindset in students. The Project consists of four brief activities students engage in during the semester which are imported into a D2L course. As we enter the fifth year of the MLP, we're excited to share a bit about what we’ve discovered, learn more about recent updates to the MLP, and hear a bit about our plans for the near future.
We would like to encourage faculty to use the MLP in your math courses. The MLP is distributed as a Learning Package for D2L that can be directly imported into your courses with minimal set up. The package is available to faculty who complete the brief, self-paced overview and implementation course in MomenutmU. In addition to the materials that comprise the Activities, we will send you a weekly email providing you with timely tips and suggestions on supporting students’ mindsets in your course.
