Full functionality of event management, student organization management, and community service submission. Initial build out of Certificates and Competency and Skills sections began in Fall 2023. Additional changes to Certificates and build out of additional features are coming (all mentioned below). Monthly and End of Term usage/activity reports for activities and events for all departments across the university are generated and sent to all departments who host events and other university stakeholders. Data is being leveraged in consultation with Institutional Research to showcase student success metrics (GPA, retention, semester credit hours) as well as student populations who need additional focus. Added focus will be given to maximizing the use of the data we get from the platform. Department use spans across many Divisions at the university. Those Divisions and corresponding number of participating depts using Eagle Engage include:
Student Affairs (13 depts), Academic Affairs (57 depts), Inclusive Excellence (5 depts), Enrollment, Marketing and Student Success (6 depts), Auxiliary Services (1 dept), Business and Finance (1 depts), Athletics (2 depts), and Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations (1 depts).
Eagle Engage continues to be built out and enhanced as an engagement platform. An Advisory Team helps lead this direction and progress is currently being made on various elements intended to increase engagement such as Points and Certificates as well as refinement of front-facing user interface and how to guide resources. A structural element to tie learning, skill building, and engagement continues to be developed through the Competencies and Skills feature. A Strategic Plan for Eagle Engage has also been created and assessed each semester for progress and updates. Eagle Engage is continually growing dept users and increasing student organization use for submitting student org. meetings.
